In colorful attire reminiscent of the American colonial period, an elderly gent carries a walking stick and gestures with his thumb pointing up toward the “Merry Christmas” at the top of the illustration. Atop his white curled hair sits a jaunty three-cornered hat, and he wears a red and blue coat, pink waistcoat and blue breeches.
